Trinity fields basketball teams for Boys and Girls in the winter season. TCS offers teams for Junior Varsity and Varsity age students in 6th-12th grades. Basketball season begins with preseason practice in October with games being played from November to February.
Beginning in 2013 TCS has competed in GICAA Division I – South Region against other schools from Southeast Georgia. The 2015-2016 Lady Lions we Region Runner-Ups and advanced to the GAPPS Elite Eight. In 2022, The Lady Lions were Region Champions and advanced to the GAPPS Final Four. They finished the season with an impressive 18-1 record.
The JV Boys’ won the 2012 Appling -Tip Off Tournament, as well as finishing with a 14-5 record. The Varsity Boys team in 2012-2013 finished with an 8-9 record which was their most successful season since 2006. The Varsity Boys won the Region Championship in 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 and advanced to the GAPPS State Final Four in 2014-2015. In 2022, our Varsity Boys won Region Runner-Up and advanced to the GAPPS State Tournament, competing in the Elite Eight.
