Trinity Christian School is committed to providing an academically excellent, Christ-centered education to all of our students. We believe that our Christian faith is relevant to every area of study – history, science, mathematics, language, art, and literature – not just Bible class. The curriculum is designed to challenge students to develop their minds not just so that they can succeed in the world but so that they can serve their Creator. The curriculum is college-preparatory in nature, with many opportunities for students to take Honors or Advanced Placement classes in the Upper School.
As a ministry of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Trinity Christian School prepares students academically, equips them to view the world and interact with it from a biblical perspective, and develops in them a sincere desire to serve God and others.
We believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior and King. He is the rock upon which every aspect of our school is built.
We believe that truth exists and that God is the ultimate source of all truth. Through the study of the world and everything in it, we can discover truths about science, art, history, literature, music, math, and every other area of knowledge.
We believe that knowledge alone is not enough. We need wisdom to comprehend the big questions of life: Who are we? Why are we here? What is our purpose in life? True wisdom begins with the recognition that God is our Creator and Redeemer.
In the fall of 2023 it will have been 40 years since the founding of Trinity Christian School. During this time it has grown from its humble beginnings with fewer than ten students to now over two hundred twenty. The birth of Trinity Christian School, as is the case with all ministries, began with the ideas conceived in the minds of the leaders and parents of Trinity Presbyterian Church. TCS is not just a school, it is a ministry to children and their families that seeks to honor the Lord Jesus Christ.
TCS has always tried to combine a thoroughly Christian philosophy of education, with Christian faculty and a curriculum that acknowledges the Lord Jesus Christ as the Way, the Truth, and the Life. These three ingredients, combined with a great group of families and students, have propelled TCS into an effective educational ministry that is having an impact in the community.
